Live at Leeds (In the Park) 2024 - Ones to watch

Tomorrow. Live at Leeds (In the Park) returns to Temple Newsam for its third year, with a host of household names, and plenty of up-and-coming artists across the festival's five stages.

Conveniently located just a 15-minute drive from Leeds City Centre, with regular shuttle busses available throughout the day both there and back, it's the perfect way to get your festival fix, without all the usual hassle.

Final tickets for this year's event can be found HERE

Here are a few of the acts I think you should check out on the day:

Courting

Clash Big Top - 12:30 - 13:00

I've had the pleasure of seeing Courting a couple of times now, and their live shows never dissapoint, and having released their second album earlier this year, it's the perfect time to get to know!

Cosmo Pyke

DIY Stage - 13:30 - 14:00

You probably already know Cosmo Pyke from his 2017 hit, Chronic Sunshine, but Cosmo has a wide array of hits under his name, so is definitely worth checking out this year!

Sprints

Clash Big Top - 14:10 - 14:40

Irish Garage punk band Sprints are a must-see at this years festival, with plenty of support from the likes of 6 Music and KEXP to name a few, and plenty of sell-out shows already under their belts, it's a must. Their debut album Letter to Self released earlier this year speaks for it's self, make sure you take the time to see them!

Baby Queen

The Cockpit Main Stage -14:50 - 15:20

If you're an avid festival attendee, Baby Queen probably requires no introduction, The London based, South African born singer has quickly cemented herself as a festival mainstay since launching her career in 2020.

Good Neighbours

DIY Stage -17:00 - 17:30

You're most likely already familiar with Good Neighbours from their newfound fame with viral sensation Home, amassing over 185,000,000 plays on Spotify alone since it's release earlier this year. You'd be wrongly mistaken for thinking they might end up just being one-hit wonders, having seen them live myself only last weekend at Sheffield's Get Together, they are most definitely a band to keep on your radar!

The Academic

The Temple - 18:00 - 18:45

With two Irish number one albums under their belts, a history of exceptional live performances in Leeds, and having played Live at Leeds in various capacities over the years, make sure to Add The Academic to your list of bands to see this year!

Future Islands

Clash Big Top -18:50 - 19:45

Future Islands are one of those bucket-list bands everyone should see live at least once, and what better timing than this weekend. Lead singer Samuel T. Herring puts on one hell of a live performance every single show, and the band's endless list of hits will make for one hell of a live performance.

HotWax

DORK HYPE Stage - 20:00 - 20:30

HotWax seem to be playing every festival in existence this year, so if you're heading to more than one, you should definitely check them out this weekend at Live at Leeds, you might just find your new favourite!

The Cribs

Clash Big Top - 20:15 - 21:15

Wakefield indie heavyweights, The Cribs, return to Temple Newsam once again, the last time supporting The Music in 2022 for what was an incredible set, and it's sure to be the same again this time round.
