This coming Friday, STONE are set to release their well-anticipated debut album, "Fear Life For A Lifetime". The Liverpool-based four piece has released plenty 'a single in the four-year run-up to this debut, as well as two very well-received EP's "punkadonk" and "punkadonk 2", but this album feels like a completely different level for the band.
The album covers a wide range of styles but feels far from thrown together, it all seems to fit together perfectly.
Stand-out Tracks include: Say It Out Loud, Never Gonna Die, and already released Single, Queen, but in complete honesty, every single track on the album could be listed here.
Speaking on single release Queen, lead singer, Fin Power says:
I wrote ‘Queen’ from the perspective of the person I was seeing at the time, and the words that they said to me. I remember someone saying to me, ‘You know, I don’t love myself, but I love the way you look at me.’ It’s a song about how falling in love is actually such a powerful thing that it makes you doubt yourself.
To celebrate the release of the new album, the band embark on a small run of instore shows starting on the day of release at Rough Trade East (London), as well as two shows in Leeds at The Vinyl Whistle on the 16th of July, with final tickets for the 9 PM show available HERE
